From the DESK OF DR. TED – I was honored…

While sitting at my desk this morning and recovering from the Morter Experience weekend, Dr. Roberts stopped in to ask me if I remembered a patient from the distant past.
“Do you remember Margret C?” he asked. I paused for about 5 seconds to reflect and when her face and her distinct voice popped into memory, I smiled and nodded yes!
“Well, she stopped in to see you…now!”
I remember Margret as an elderly patient, which I haven’t seen in over 15 years. She was always full of energy, anxious to get her treatment, and drove to see me from a small town some 65 miles away.
Margret had moved to Michigan some 10 years ago into a retirement community, which, as she explained, she loves. I stepped out in the hall to see her for the first time in 15 years and she hopped out of the chair to give me a great big hug exclaiming, “Dr. Ted, you haven’t changed a bit!”
We chatted for a few minutes, and she explained that she was now being treated by a practitioner in Michigan whom I had trained in B.E.S.T. many years ago. But, as she was about to head out the door with her niece to drive away, she asked if she might get another special “Dr. Ted” treatment!
I was honored.
